Laments Of A Male Mother (excerpts)

Sige: Man-Woman

He does not know how to address me.
He says I am the best of both worlds;
yet he fears what is in-between these worlds
So I must give him the face
that he can praise before his friends;
and when I cover him like the night,
he can love the heart that he has denied
as we merge into one spiraling dance.

I wrap my wings around him
like a black blanket,
like a dazzling darkness
as I breathe him into possibilities.

As I shed myself and become the Black Goddess,
he sees my hairy legs
and becomes intoxicated from my breath
as he shimmers within me
when he enters into the Mystery.

I bring him back to his Face
until he hears the bustle of the outside world,
the voices of his friends taunting
because he loves this Gatekeeper;
the one who stands with feet in two worlds;
the who is veiled in Silence;
and yet I am naked to the stones of the world.
He draws his spirit back into body
and pulls his face back into the illusions
of a life breathing in and out
as he stands in putrid water within himself
ignoring the fragrance of this man-woman
who walks as The Veiled One, who is the Sige.
