This was supposed to be a comedy about racism. The problem is, racism isn't that funny. Instead, A One Color System is a drama with a twist. It is loosely based on a CNN report from almost ten years ago. In both cases an interracial couple moves into an exclusive neighborhood, and the homeowners association goes to extreme lengths to get them out. In the real world, the FBI investigated. Members of the homeowners association went to jail for violating civil rights. In A One Color System things are a little more complex. Remember, be careful what you wish for.
