Co-producers: Donald Wylie and Carmen Kloezeman are fine documentary film makers in their own right.

Film Director and former NFL San Diego Charger Bruford McClerkins co-produced

John Perches is a co-producer.

Director Yuell Newsome is also a producer.

Director: Yuell Newsome. Mr. Newsome graduated SFSU with a degree in filmmaking. Since that time he has worked on a variety of projects, as cameraman, editor, DP and restoration specialist. He is currently a film stock librarian at Warner Brothers Television Post Production Department. His shows include Everwood, Smallville, Drew Carey and What I Like About You. This is his directorial debut.

Writer: Lorenzo Buford is author of the script, based on a story by director Yuell Newsome and Blaze Novak. Mr. Buford has had several plays produced both in Los Angeles and New York. He is currently working on a full length CD of original music.

Sound: Downtown Stu Brown was the sound engineer. He has worked for Universal music and is now an independent contractor.

Music: Greg Vosberg of Avilon Music in Burbank created the final soundtrack and composed all original music for the film.

Director of Photography: Roderick "Kwaku" Young has worked on documentaries for Masai Films and HBO, as well as music videos.

Production Design: Valerie Adair and Alfred Davila.

Make Up and Hair: Gail Gulino

Wardrobe: Amanda Brinsmade. Ms Brinsmade was oringally a "professional dresser" to the rich and famous she is now a regular in the wardrobe credits of Hollywood.

Casting Director: Cydney McCurdy . Ms. McCurdy has done casting work on a variety of television shows, including The Flash, Golden Girls and Wordz Up. Until recently she was a feature casting director at WB. She has also worked on a number of features with directors like Ross Marks, John Singleton and Spike Lee.

 

Cast

Christopher B. Duncan: Mr. Duncan is the male lead, Dr. Desmond. Duncan had just come off of a highly praised performance in "Original Gangstas" and I was happy to get him. While on the set one day Christopher got a call from his agent, telling him that he had just landed a regular spot on a TV sitcom, "The Jamie Foxx Show." A role he maintained for the entire five year run of the show. A singular talent he has mastered both comedic and dramatic timing. Mr. Duncan's tv and movie appearances include "Deadly Medicine," "Majority Rule," "Wild Palms," "Jack Reed 3," "Three Kings," and a major role in "The Elevator." He has since had small roles in "Heaven's Burning" and the Pauly Shore comedy, "In the Army Now." Mr. Duncan has also made numerous guest appearances on such television shows as Soul Food, Living Single, Coach, and Diagnosis Murder. Most recently he has been seen in a recurring role on The District. And as the frustrated driver in the Michelin spots that ran during the NBA play-offs.

Alessandra Petlin: Ms. Petlin, the actress who played Mrs. Desmond, has a long career as spouse and girlfriend. She has appeared as one of Jerry's ill fated girlfriend's on Seinfield and had a short run as one of Ira's girlfriends on Mad About You.

James Ingersoll: Mr. Ingersoll played Mr. Anderson, the nemesis of the Desmonds. His feature film credits include "Pee Wee's Big Adventure," "Back to School" and "Midway". Among his many television appearances are Melrose Place, Murder She Wrote, Rhythm and Blues, Remington Steele, Quantum Leap, Secret World of Alex Mack, JAG, The Practice Star Trek; Enterprise and Without a Trace. His stage performance in "Nineball" was awarded a Drama Louge award.

Elizabeth Maynard: Ms Maynard played Elsa, the realtor who sold Mrs. Desmond the house, only to discover, too late, Dr. Desmond's complexion. Her screen credit's include the films "Gang Related." "Hudson Street," and "Burning Youth." Her television credits include Lois and Clark" and Prisoners of Inertia, PBS Playhouse. She has done stage work in both LA and New York as well as many regional productions

Lynette Bennett: One of the best performances of the film, Ms. Bennett plays the put upon, rarely sober wife of the philandering bigot, Mr. Anderson. She has been seen on Married with Children, and has her own one woman traveling tribute to Jeanette MacDonald, "Lynette Sings Jeanette," written and performed by Ms. Bennett.

Sam Vincent : The great thing about Mr. Vincent is the fact that you beleive he is the coniving, racist agent of the Association and that he is the affable, gentle con man as well. Mr Vincent has numerous tv guest appearances to his credit.
